The delegation of KazSRIRS and KNAPEC attended the annual regional conference on road safety organized by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Manila.
At the plenary session High-Level Roundtable – Increasing Funding for Safer Infrastructure, KazSRIRS Director Arystan Massanov delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of joint initiatives and international exchange of experience to improve road safety in Kazakhstan and the region.
Aizhan Issagulova, Head of International Projects at KNAPEC, spoke at the session “ iRAP Safer Roads Save Lives: RAP Program Update and Knowledge Sharing,” where she presented key points and news about the KAZRAP national program aimed at introducing the world’s best practices and iRAP tools in Kazakhstan.
Participation in the conference provided an opportunity to discuss new approaches and strategic priorities and to strengthen partnerships with international organizations in the field of road safety. Kazakhstan continues to actively develop cooperation within the APRSO, contributing to the achievement of global goals to reduce the number of road accidents and save lives.
