On December 19, 2025, Kazakhstan National Association of Professional Engineers and Consultants has received the Eurasian Transport and Logistics Award on the official award ceremony marking the end of the year. 2025 was good and intense year, and looking back it is good to remember key events of our Association’s activities. In the first quarter of this year our main focus was road safety. We have conducted study tours for our engineers and were privileged to learn both theory and practice from world leading road safety organizations and experts FRED Engineering Antonino Tripodi daniel bianconi in January and Sweroad João Pimentel, Sholpan Ainakulova, Darko Cvoric in March. The trainings covered topics such as road safety audits, Vision Zero, the implementation of innovative solutions to improve road safety. Culminating our road safety efforts, we made presentation on the subject “Safe System” at the Lifesavers conference in March Arystan Massanov Nurgali Amandykov. It was our honor and pleasure to have our panel moderated by Bruce Hamilton.
In June 2025, together with partners ACEG - Association of Consulting Engineers Georgia Intelligent Solution LLC Hogan Lovells Germany Irakli Khergiani Nata Ghibradze Nino Tsaturova Karl Pörnbacher Tato Samushia, we held the Second Annual Caucasus and Central Asia Construction Forum, which was widely covered by the media and our social networks. The forum gathered key industry experts from more than 20 countries and became an excellent platform for exchanging opinions, discussing the most important issues of the industry's development, and analyzing problematic aspects.
On June 11, a specialized course on claims and dispute resolution under FIDIC contracts was held, conducted by world leading FIDIC experts and excellent trainers Taner Dedezade, Leo Grutters, Nino Tsaturova, and Sophie, which was exceptionally useful for Kazakhstani specialists. We are continuing to promote FIDIC in Kazakhstan.
In the second half of the year, representatives of the Association took part in international events held in Istanbul Department for Business and Trade Paris @ICC Arbitration, and Belgrade, at each of them we gained important knowledge and skills for applying in our country. Signing Memorandum of Understanding with ACES - Udruženje inženjera konsultanata Srbije Nikola Pavlovic opens the path for cooperation of Serbian and Kazakhstani engineering sectors. In November, we have attended training organized by FRED Engineering Francisco Reina Barranco Mar Sánchez López Jose Antonio Navarro Moreno on the operation and maintenance of motorways in Spain, where Spanish colleagues shared their experience on technical issues for ensuring high-quality and safe road maintenance.
