Arystan Massanov and Zhandos Amanbayev have participated in Kazakhstan week in London that took place from January 19th to January 23rd. The event was organized by British-Kazakh Society, jointly with Mayer Brown and other partners. Zhandos Amanbayev participated in panel discussion focused on infrastructure development in Kazakhstan, present challenges and future opportunities. Excellently moderated by Rachael O'Grady with fellow panelists Evgeny Smirnov, Dilfariz Sharipov, Andrey Artyushenko, Volodymyr Yaremko, and Andrew Sarraf, the discussion was engaging, insightful, lively and has covered wide range of infrastructure development aspects including investments, highway and railway projects, FIDIC, procurement, concession projects, contractual issues, legal and regulatory frameworks, disputes and other topics.
The event attracted professionals with high level of expertise from the United Kingdom, Kazakhstan and other countries, both private and public sectors, IFIs, highlighting the growing potential for collaboration and partnership.
