Kazakh delegation consisting of representatives of the Kazakhstan National Association of Professional Engineers and Consultants, Kazakh Scientific Research Institute of Road Safety LLP, KazdorNII JSC are taking part in the largest annual US conference on road safety Lifesavers in Seattle, which this year was held for the 41st time. The conference was held on April 2-4. The speakers included leading scientists from American universities, representatives of the Federal Government, Departments of Transportation of various states, as well as practitioners and activists.
Scientists have shared the results of recent studies, according to the results of some of them, decisions and actions have already been taken by the governments of certain states, while other studies have been published.
Government officials and decision makers share successful cases of reducing deaths and injuries on the roads, while at the same time talking about the main problems and obstacles that do not always allow achieving the desired results.
