The workshop was organized jointly with the Kazakhstan National Association of Professional Engineers and Consultants (KNAPEC) and International Financial Institutions: Asian Development Bank, World Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
The aim of the workshop was to introduce FIDIC international contracts, work management, corporate law, claims and dispute resolution to local companies for participation in international tenders for new road projects under preparation.
International Financial Institutions presented their rules and requirements for participants in road projects.
Andrey Artyushenko, a certified trainer on FIDIC contracts, spoke at the workshop on behalf of KNAPEC and shared with participants the principles of working with FIDIC construction contracts and his experience in using them in Kazakhstan.
